NOW OPEN - Brewster Cutting Horse Arena. Bristow
is home to one of the nations' most advanced cutting horse arenas.
The Brewster arena complex is nine miles south of Bristow on W. 321
St. South. It features a 64,000 square foot arena on 3,200 acres.
The interior was designed by famed interior designer Ronnie Campbell
who used cedar posts and old mission doors from Mexico as part of
its decor. There is also a large restaurant area with ceilings of
weather-worn tin and light fixtures of handmade Western cutouts. This
arena is just one of a few in the country large enough to have two
horses competing in the arena at the same time.
June 18 & 19 Oklahoma Reining Horse Association
hosts clinic for horses at Brewster Cutting Horse Arena. Will feature
Shawn Flarida, a two-time champion and World Equestrian Games Gold
Medalist. $35 for one day, or $50 for both days. Registration online
at www. OKRHA.com or 800-444-6481.
